Vaarn is, of course, synonymous with the pointcrawl, generated via a dice drop map. But what if you want something different? What if you want to fill a hexcrawl instead?
Don’t worry, I have you covered. This is adapted from Luke Gearing’s procedure from Wolves upon the Coast. If it’s good enough for one of the best hexcrawls out there it’s certainly good enough for me.
You’ll need to draw up a hexmap first. If you needed help filling in the basic terrain types, I would use the generator found here.
Once the map is sketched out, it’s time to start filling the content in. Per hex, roll a d6.
